Camping Out

After dealing with tent drama (the one that I ordered should be here tomorrow, but I went to Walmart and picked another one up), we had such a great time camping out on Friday! Addy loved everything about it. We started the night off by getting a visit from the Passy Princess (thanks Lynne!) who brought Addy a game in return for her passies. She did great and only asked for them once while I was putting her jammies on.

We cooked hotdogs (organic all beef hotdogs...who knew that they made such a thing?) and hamburgers and roasted marshmallows and made smores. Addy liked the plain marshmallows better than the roasted ones, but she loved roasting them over the fire.

We all (me, Jeremy, Addy and Mozelle) slept in the tent! I was impressed with Addy, but she is so easygoing with a lot of changes that I didn't doubt for a minute that she wouldn't want to do it. She had a blast and wanted to sleep in the tent for all naps and bedtime after that. She's just like her daddy with outdoorsy stuff...my bed was calling me after that! :) I have to admit that I woke up at 4:00 am when natured called...I came inside and saw that warm, comfy bed and snuggled right in. Addy and Jeremy came in at 8:00 for breakfast and I awoke refreshed and a little sad that I didn't rough it the entire night!

We had so much fun, but I love even more the memories that we made!
