Addyson, Mozelle (our dog), and I had a good time just to ourselves this week. Jeremy was out of town on business from Sunday to Wednesday. We really had a great time but missed him!
On Monday night, we curled up in our bed to watch the Jungle Book. Addy looked at me and said, "Hold, hold, hold." I asked her, "hold what?" And she grabbed my hand and held it for about 30 minutes...which is a long sit still time for her! It was so sweet! I love little moments like that. :)
And on Tuesday morning, we hosted playgroup at our house. There were lots of moms and kids running around! Addy had a lot of fun and so did I. I was so thankful for our new house and more importantly, more space! We had never been able to host a playgroup before at our house since we just didn't have room before.
And, we started the project of painting Addy's big girl bed white last weekend. It is a pine daybed with clean lines. I really like it and I think it is something she can grow up with. But, it is taking forever to paint! We sanded it down, put on a primer, and are on our 3rd coat of paint...it will need at least one more! I can't wait to get it set up in the guest room though with all the cute bedding! I will post a picture next week (hopefully) when we get it finished!

That is really sweet that she wanted to hold your hand and did for 30 minutes. That is a very long time for her! I sure do miss all of you and can hardly wait until Friday to see y'all.
